Exhibition Design

Working in tandem with my client Hamilton & Inches, a 5 star jewellery shop on George Street in Edinburgh, they tasked me with designing an exhibition for their store that:

  • Paid homage to their history and also the future of the company while adhering to their strict brand guidelines.

  • Be constructed on a flexible system that has to be used for multiple events and exhibitions.

  • Be eye-catching when exhibited but not to the extent that it detracts from the rest of the brand new showroom.

The exhibition was displayed in store for just over a week and included such works as the Calcutta Cup, a handwritten version of ‘The Tales of Beedle the Bard’ by J.K Rowling and also the birth casket gifted to Andrew Carnegie.

My design solution was elegant and met every specification and stipulation set out for it. The exhibition was met with great acclaim and the steal display frames will be used for exhibitions in the future.
